Telluride Bluegrass Festival 2014: Preliminary Lineup Includes Brandi Carlile, Yonder Mountain String Band And More

With four full days pass and half the day gone so wrong, Telluride Bluegrass Festival has shared the preliminary lineup for 2014.

The fourth and final day of the 40th annual Telluride Bluegrass festival ended on June 23 with a performance by the monks of Drepung , Bela Fleck, the Infamous Stringdusters , Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy, Hot Rize , Jackson Browne and the Telluride House Band and a Leftover Salmon -free operation in the town of Telluride.

Along with Bela Fleck and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, who will headline announced on June 19, Brandi Carlile , Yonder Mountain String Band, Andrew Bird & the Hands of Glory and more have been announced . See full list of artists below.

According to a press release from Telluride Bluegrass Festival, this preliminary announcement represents less than half of the artists in the four-day event.

Single day tickets for Thursday and Sunday are still available. Four- day passes sold out in 10 minutes from the date of sale.

Telluride Bluegrass Festival Announces 2014 Lineup

The Telluride Bluegrass Festival lineup for next year has just been published. Set for the weekend of 19 and the June 22, 2014,

 the festival will host Sam Bush Band, Béla Fleck with the Colorado Symphony, Yonder Mountain String Band, Andrew Bird & the Hands of Glory, and the Del McCoury Band more to anchor the festival. Favorites LMB as Keller Williams and Greensky Bluegrass will be there. Read on for the first round of artists:

Telluride Bluegrass Confirms NightGrass Series

Planet Bluegrass declared the lineup for several nights, indoor shows to be held 18-22 June in manifold places in Telluride and Mountain Village at Telluride Bluegrass Festival this year. The training includes intimate performances by Yonder Mountain String Band, Leftover Salmon, Punch Brothers, Greensky Bluegrass, Jason Isbell & special programs Del McCoury 75th Birthday Extravaganza. All or will take place within walking distance of the festival or Park City will be serviced by a free shuttle. Participating sites include the historic Sheridan Opera House, the Fly Me to the Moon Saloon, and the Theater of Ramos. 

In addition, the Telluride Conference Center in Mountain Village (reached via a free gondola ride from Telluride) will host 13 home party band Yonder Mountain sequence of annual bluegrass on Wednesday before festival.All tickets will be sold through an online lottery from April 14 to 16 at 11:59 pm MDT. Any tickets remaining after the lottery will be sold beginning at 9 am MDT April 22 at 800-624-2422 or online. Lottery entrants will be notified of the status of your registration by April 21.
