Town Approves Temporary Ropes Course Near Lift 4

Their new summer attractions are likely to come to the mountain village, as the city has given approval for a temporary ropes course near Lift 4.

The course is part of an effort to Telluride Ski & Golf Company to bring more activity to the heart of the village, and is provided in place until August. The ropes course will be suspended above a small pool on a deep foot having many intended uses. Although the board gave unanimous approval during a conditional use permit Thursday that had some questions about your setup, security and location.



Council Member Cath Jett expressed concern about the proximity of the course to mountain bike trials in the area and the potential impacts to mountain bikers. According Telski, one of his goals is to increase business in the heart of the village. The company is playing with many different ideas to try to bring people to Mountain Village and make sure they have a good time in summer and winter.
