The sign at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival this summer (June 19-22) is looking stellar with heavier weights than in recent years, including David Rawlings Machine (featuring Gillian Welch), Alison Krauss, Béla Fleck and Colorado Symphony, Andrew Bird, nickel Creek and more.
Béla Fleck also played with Brooklyn Rider, a group that accredits NPR as "recreating the 300-year-old form of string quartet." The group of four young classical masters, going to and from gigs at places and classic rock, released Road Fire (Amazon MP3 and Spotify) last year. Title track from the album will blow your mind.
